The Fox & Hounds

The front entry leads in through the semi-permanent marquee which has extra seating for drinking and dining. On entering the main building, you’re in the bar area with a real open fire and the bar directly in front.

We’re mainly devoted to higher-end traditional dining and the tables for dining are nestled amongst all the quirkiness of the Grade II listed building, low beams and terracotta tiling amongst some of the features to admire.

With an open-plan layout, we still manage to maintain a cosy atmosphere with interesting traditional artwork and décor. There is a small, pleasant patio to the front of the marquee and a small car parking area in front of that. During the summer months, there is further seating in the extensive gardens behind the building with shaded areas too.

At the Fox & Hounds, we have a well-earned reputation for good food! Please do check out our reviews on TRIPADVISOR or GOOGLE and although we’re generally full of diners we love to have people in for drinks as well with tables at the front of the bar for those just wanting to enjoy a casual drink amongst friends.

We are also happy to accommodate your Hunt or Shoot suppers as well as private parties and weddings.
